2020 Wildflower Walk Series

Come walk the trails and look for the flowers of the season with Hawthorn Hollow’s own Restoration Ecologist, Lori Artiomow.  From shrubs to trees and forbs to vines, something is sure to be blooming here throughout the season! We’ll discover the common and the more unusual plants growing here. We’ll watch as their spring flowers begin to develop into fall seeds. Don’t forget to bring your curiosity and a camera! Please be sure to dress for the weather for this leisurely 2 hour walk. $10/Person. ($5 for members) 

Instructor Bio – Lori Artiomow is the Restoration Ecologist at Hawthorn Hollow. She enjoys exploring the history of landscapes and how they change over time. She is currently working to restore the Original Prairie back to its former glory and is managing the woodlands to promote more oak, hickory, cherry regeneration, and improve the spring ephemeral diversity of the woodlands.

Fee: $5 for members, $10 non-members. (fee is per session)
