The Pike River Benefit Concert Series is Hawthorn Hollow’s annual summer fundraising event. Come enjoy an evening of live music at Hawthorn Hollow’s outdoor amphitheater nestled along the Pike River. Fine food, wines, beers, and beverages will be available for purchase. $7 Admission. All proceeds go to Hawthorn Hollow.
Friday, June 23rd 6-9:30pm – Rust Belt
The first Pike River Concert of 2017 features Rust Belt, a band specializing in roots rock, country blues, and Americana music. Featuring members of Cosmic Railroad, Recalcitrant, and other area musicians, Rust Belt performs heart-felt songs while exploring the depths of groove and slide guitar.
Friday, July 7th 6-9:30pm – The Crazy Chesters
Featuring members of Secondhand Silver and Big Leaf Linden, the Crazy Chesters pay loving tribute to one of the most influential American artists of the 20th century, the Band. The Band put their stamp on American music, bridging the gap between folk and rock while exploring older musical genres, creating a whole new form of music.
Friday August 4th 6-9:30pm – The Westerlees
This old-timey hot jazz and western swing band performs wholesome tunes from the early 20th century with levity and humor. Featuring steel guitar, fiddle, clarinet, and the occasional tap dancer, the Westerlees carefully select both rare and popular tunes in the interest of maximum danceability.
